You Are What You Eat!

You Are What You Eat!

If you want eye-catching, healthy hair then pay attention to what you eat!  The old saying:  “You are what you eat” applies as much to your general health as it does to a healthy head of hair.

And what will it cost to have a fabulous head of healthy hair?

Well, you won’t have to take a second mortgage out on your house or secure a new line of credit to purchase that new hair weave.  Did it ever occur to you just where all those wigs and weaves come from?  You’re absolutely right, from someone who had thick, healthy hair.  Why not put down the same roots on your own head and have a recurring supply of the beautiful stuff?  It won’t need repair, reweaving or replacement every so often either.  It will be all you!  And when you hear someone say?  “Your hair is gorgeous!,” you will experience the joy of knowing that all your efforts at growing that remarkable bundle of lovely locks is all your own.

Your hair is what you choose to eat.  While you enjoy fast foods, highly processed stuff, drink very little water and take in sufficient vitamins, your hair will let everyone know.  It won’t be just a lack of energy awaiting you. You can expect dry, lackluster and limp hair as well.

So…how do we go about crowning your head with a gorgeous set of locks?

You need to absorb highend proteins found in foods such as fresh, wild caught fish.  Be wary of “fresh fish” and be certain that it isn’t the “farm-raised” variety.  Be sure that your diet takes in sufficient calories on a daily basis.  Add a wide assortment of fruits and vegetables, whole grain products, soy products such as tofu, nuts, seeds and lean protein.  Products with high fiber should be a routine part of your eating habits as well.

And do not forget to include a generous intake of water spread throughout the day as well.  Eight glasses a day.  The added water has a generous bonus besides providing needed moisture for your hair.  It does nice things for your skin as well!

You are what you eat!  And your hair will tell everyone just how well you take care of your overall health.  Buon appetite!
